Educational Qualification
  • First Division Assistants: Must hold a Degree in Science, Commerce, Business Administration, or any branch of Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Librarian: Must hold a Degree in Library Science from a recognized University in India.

Selection Process

Phase Details
Phase 1: Kannada Language Test Candidates must pass this qualifying exam (minimum 50% marks) designed to assess their proficiency in the Kannada language. The syllabus will be based on the SSLC level.
Phase 2: Competitive Examination
  • Candidates clearing the Kannada Language Test are eligible to appear for the competitive exam.
  • The exam will consist of two papers, each carrying 100 marks.
  • Paper 1 will focus on General Knowledge and cover topics related to history, geography, political science, Indian economy, and current affairs.
  • Paper 2 will assess language proficiency (Kannada and English) and analytical skills.
  • The exam pattern may be Offline-OMR based or Computer-based (CBRT). Details will be announced later.

Phase 3: Document Verification Candidates clearing the competitive exam will be called for document verification to ensure the authenticity of the information provided in the application.
Phase 4: Final Merit List A final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the competitive exam and reservation rules. Selected candidates will be called for appointment.
