About Job Profile

The Business Correspondent Supervisor's primary role is to closely monitor the activities of Business Correspondent Agents (BCAs) assigned to them. They will be responsible for ensuring that banking services are available to the identified villages, sub-service areas (SSAs), and non-SSAs, including communities in rural, urban, and metro areas.

Additionally, they will educate BCAs about their roles and responsibilities, address grievances, conduct meetings in villages and communities to encourage the use of banking services, and ensure BCAs remain active and operational during working hours.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Business Correspondent Supervisors are as follows:

  • Young Candidates: 21-45 years at the time of appointment, maximum age for continuation will be 60 years
  • Retired Bank Employees: Maximum entry age 64 years, maximum age for continuation will be 65 years
Educational Qualification
  • Young Candidates: Minimum Graduate with computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet, etc.). Qualifications like M.Sc. (IT)/BE (IT)/MCA/MBA will be given preference.
  • Retired Bank Employees:
    • Retired Officers (including voluntary retired) of any bank up to the rank of Senior Manager or equivalent
    • Retired clerks of Central Bank of India with JAIIB qualification and a good track record
Geographical Location
  • Candidates will be selected from the same district where they will be assigned to function
  • If suitable candidates are not available in the same district, candidates may be selected from adjoining districts
  • Candidates from other states are not eligible
  • Candidates should be proficient in the local language (Telugu) and dialect, both reading and writing
  • Candidates should have accommodation near the nodal branch and not outside the district for which selection is to be made
