Selection Process
The selection process for the post of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in RPF and RPSF comprises the following stages:

Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- The CBT will be conducted to assess the candidates' knowledge and skills in Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- The test will be of 90 minutes duration and will have 120 questions.
- There will be negative marking, where 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks will be 35% for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and 30% for SC and ST candidates.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test
(PMT):
- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the CBT will be called for PET and PMT.
- The PET will involve events like 1600 meters run (for male candidates) or 800 meters run (for female candidates), long jump, and high jump.
- The PMT will assess the candidates' height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and other physical parameters as per the prescribed standards.
- Ex-Servicemen candidates will be exempted from the PET but will have to undergo the PMT.
