  • Officers (Scale-I): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Preference is given to candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy.
  • Officers (Scale-II): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference is given to candidates with a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy. Two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution is required.
  • Officers (Scale-III): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference is given to candidates with a degree/diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution is required.

Local Language Proficiency Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB is essential for both Officers (Scale-I) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts. Candidates should have studied the language of the state in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in a Government-recognized Board of Education/School or have a certificate to that effect.

How to Apply?

Candidates can apply for CRP RRBs XIII only through the online mode. The application process involves the following steps:


Step 1: Visit the IBPS Website

  • Go to the official website of IBPS: www.ibps.in
  • Click on the "CRP for RRBs" link on the homepage.
  • Click on the relevant option "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICERS (Scale-I, II and III)" or "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose)."

Step 2: New Registration

  • Click on the "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" button.
  • Fill in the basic information in the online application form.
  • The system will generate a provisional registration number and password.
  • Note down the provisional registration number and password. You will also receive an email and SMS with these credentials.

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration as per the specifications provided in Annexure III of the notification.
  • Capture and upload your photograph through webcam or mobile phone during the registration process.
  • For candidates eligible for a scribe, upload the certificate as mentioned in Clause J (x) of the notification.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

  • Fill in the remaining details in the online application form carefully.
  • Use the "SAVE AND NEXT" option to verify the details before submitting the form.

Step 5: Payment of Fees

  • Pay the application fee/intimation charges online through Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.
  • After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated.
  • Take a printout of the e-receipt and the online application form for future reference.

Step 6: Complete Registration

  • Click on the "COMPLETE REGISTRATION" button to finalize the application process.

After completing the application process, make sure to take a printout of the system-generated online application form and retain it along with your registration number and password.

Selection Process

Phase Details
Preliminary Examination (Online)
  • For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and Officers (Scale-I)
  • Two objective tests: Reasoning and Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude
  • Each test carries 40 questions for 40 marks.
  • Total duration of the test: 45 minutes (composite time).
  • Candidates need to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks.
  • Shortlisted candidates in each category will be called for the Main Examination.

Main Examination (Online)
  • For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and Officers (Scale-I)
  • Five objective tests: Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English Language/Hindi Language, and Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Total duration of the test: 2 hours (composite time).
  • Candidates need to qualify in each test by securing minimum cut-off marks.
  • Shortlisted candidates in each category will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs (for Office Assistants) or called for the Interview (for Officers).

Single Examination (Online)
  • For Officers (Scale-II and III)
  • Various objective tests depending on the specialization (refer to the detailed notification for the specific test structure).
  • Shortlisted candidates in each category will be called for the Interview.

Interview (for Officers)
  • The interview will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS.

  • Minimum qualifying marks for the interview: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).
  • The relative weightage (ratio) of Online Examination and Interview will be 80:20 for Officers.
  • Candidates need to qualify in both the Online Examination and the Common Interview to be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

Provisional Allotment
  • Based on the combined final score, candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs on merit-cum-preference basis.
  • The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling all the required criteria and identity verification.
  • Provisionally allotted candidates may be posted anywhere depending on the RRB's requirements.
